Meeting with the City of Austin

The ROA has uploaded to YouTube a recording of the informational meeting with the City of Austin regarding the “Texas Bungalows” purchase and planned facility. You can find that recording here.

This special meeting was called to ask questions of the City of Austin staff regarding the recent purchase of a local hotel to serve as a resource in Austin’s homelessness strategy.

Guest speakers were: – Diana Grey, Homeless Strategy Officer, City of Austin- Charles Loosen, Community Engagement, Homeless Strategy Division, Austin Public Health- Heidi Kahle, Policy Advisor, Office of Council Member Leslie Pool – District 7.
