District 50 Meet the Candidates Forum

You are cordially invited to a Candidate Meet and Greet Reception for the Texas House District 50 Special Election.  The event will be sponsored by the Scofield Residential Owners Association on October 22 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  The event will be held at The Original Pancake House located at 1700 W Parmer Ln #650.  Our neighbor, Sue Jahn, has graciously donated the space for the evening.
This will NOT be a debate, but rather a chance for neighbors to connect with candidates and discuss issues in a friendly non-partisan atmosphere.  The event is not to promote any one candidate or political party.  Currently, all 4 candidates for the open Texas House seat are scheduled to attend.

Fun with Ms. Lisa on August 31

Children and adults alike had a great time last Saturday, August 31 as they enjoyed “Ms. Lisa” Baker’s stories, songs, and puppets.  At least 50 residents and guests were on hand to share a fun morning.  It was a warm day, but the heat was alleviated by a dip in the pool before, during, or after the show!  Thank you, Ms. Lisa, for sharing your talents with us!
