Important Pool Update

This week, a problem was identified in the lighting inside our pool. Therefore, the lights in the pool have been disconnected and the nighttime swimming has been discontinued until this is fixed.

On Thursday, August 11, Quantum Electric will be digging at the pool area.  Therefore, the pool will be closed until they are finished.  We are hopeful that they will be able to identify and fix the issue on this date.

Movie at the Pool, scheduled for Saturday, August 13, may be rearranged if the problem persists.  Please check the website for up-to-date information.

Pool Update

Unfortunately, the security panel at the pool has stopped working.  While we work to find a temporary solution as we await repair, the pool will be open when lifeguards are there only.  Be assured that we are working diligently for a solution.  Stay tuned!

Important Update to Scofield ROA Annual Meeting on May, 3rd,2016

Thanks to everyone who attended our annual meeting on Tuesday night at the Frank Fickett Boy Scout Center.  It is always a pleasure to see a gathering of our neighbors and is easy to see why Scofield is such a great place to live!

First, some housekeeping: During the organizational meeting of the Board that followed the Annual meeting, it was discovered that there was an error in the ballot tabulation at the Annual Meeting that took place on 5/3/2016 at Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America – Fickett Center.  This error caused the wrong candidate to be announced as the winner. It was announced that Barton Layne was re-elected for a three year term when the correct candidate by a majority of the votes was Ketan Patel.     Both candidates were informed immediately of this error by current board members.  CMA and the Board apologize for this error and should any owner wish to view the ballots they may contact CMA within 30 days of the Annual Meeting date.

A heartfelt thank you to Barton Layne for all of his years of service on the board.  He will continue to serve the community in his capacity as an active ACC member. His participation and hard work has helped (and will continue to help) our neighborhood be the special place that it is.

Welcome to Ketan Patel who begins a 3-year term on the board.  We’re happy to have you!

Finally, another sincere thank you to Paul Maine, who is stepping down from another year as Board President and will complete his final year as Member-at-large. His hard work over the past year has made a difference for our neighborhood and has been appreciated by all of us!

The new board structure will be as follows:

Diane Harvey Anderson – President

Ketan Patel – Vice President

Dan Frasier – Treasurer

Pete Patterson – Secretary

Paul Maine – Member-at-large

Please feel free to contact us at the board via the contact form.  We look forward to working for you to make sure our neighborhood stays a great place to live!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, March 26

The annual Scofield Easter Egg hunt will be held Saturday, March 26th at 10:30am in Scofield Farms Park.

This is a free event – *however* all participating families must provide one dozen filled plastic eggs per child in advance.

Please include a note listing the ages of the participating children (we will have 3 age divisions). This is VERY important to make sure every child gets a fair and equitable number of eggs.
Eggs may be dropped off starting March 20th at 1416 Braided Rope. There will be a box out front.  Fill the eggs with wrapped candies, stickers, little toys, etc. Eggs that fall open too easily should be taped shut. Be aware that chocolate is prone to melting if we get warm temps.

The hunt will start right around 10:35. Don’t miss it! We will have refreshments (including some Rudy’s breakfast tacos!) and Tiny Tails Petting Zoo will be there for their 4th time with us. That’s always a fun, fun time!

If you have questions, please email Laura at lnattinger@gmail.com.
