Pool Open on Memorial Day

The pool will be open for swimming this Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day), so that residents can enjoy the holiday with their families.  Therefore, it will be closed for cleaning from 8 am – 5 pm on Tuesday, May 27.  Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, 5/28.

Movie at the Pool – June 7

We’re changing things up a bit this year and hosting a “Movie at the Pool” at dusk (around 8:30 pm) on Saturday, June 7.  Join us for a screening of “Frozen” along with beverages and snow cones.  Many thanks to University Federal Credit Union for their generous sponsorship of this event!   See you there!

Scofield ROA Annual Meeting – May 20, 2014

The annual meeting of the Scofield Residential Owners’ Association will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 7 pm at the Frank Fickett Boy Scout Center, 12500 North I-35, Austin TX 78753.  Check-in will begin at 6:30 pm.  The agenda for the meeting is available here.  Please join us for an important update on the past year from your Scofield ROA Board of Directors, as well as the election of three members to the Board.  We’ll also be giving away door prizes.  The annual meeting is not only a informative and fun event, but necessary to the operation of our homeowners’ association.  If you are unable to attend, please complete your proxy form and return to Certified Management of Austin’s office by May 19, 2014, or you may send it with a neighbor who is attending. Your signed proxy will help meet the required quorum of ten (10%) percent. Hope to see you all on the 20th!

Kindergarten Round Up – May 6

If you have a child entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2014, don’t miss the Kindergarten Round-Up to be held at Parmer Lane Elementary on Tuesday, May 6 from 9 am to 6 pm.  You’ll have a chance to register your child for the 2014-15 school year at that time, as well as obtain any information you may need.  For more details, see the Pflugerville ISD website.

Easter Egg Hunt – April 19

It is Spring Egg Hunt time!  The event is scheduled for April 19th at 10:30 am in Scofield Farms Park.

We will have a petting zoo (Tiny Tails to You), snacks and of course a certain famous rabbit.

That means it is also time to start donating eggs!

EGG DONATION INSTRUCTIONS

For those of you who have not participated before, each family who has participating children donates 12 eggs (per child) filled with packaged candy, stickers, trinkets or small packaged snacks.  Please do not submit gold eggs because these will be used for special prizes..

Eggs can be put in a plastic bag and dropped off at 1508 Braided Rope Dr. and put on the front porch.  Please include your name in the bag.

Please tape eggs closed and include a paper with your children’s ages, so that we can distribute eggs by age appropriately.

All eggs should be received by Wednesday April 16th

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

If you are able to assist, we need some volunteers on that Saturday morning at 9:30 am for setup or immediately afterward for some quick cleanup.

Also if you or your business wish to sponsor some snacks for the event or a craft table, that opportunity is available.

New Scofield Farms Promotional Video

Make sure to check out our newly released Scofield Farms promotional video, now available here.  The video is the result of several months of planning and preparation.  We hope that it will be a helpful resource to both current and prospective residents alike.  Many thanks to Scofield resident Dan Grosser for all his work in making this possible – it’s much appreciated!  We welcome your comments and suggestions for further productions —
