The ROA Board of Directors has expended considerable amounts of time working on the opening of the pool. We are fully aware that nearby pools are opening this month.
The Board is working toward preparations to open the Scofield Farms Pool for residents later this month.
Please mark your calendars for the annual Scofield Farms Residential Owners Association Meeting which will be held via Zoom on July 15 at 6:30 p.m. An agenda will be shared in advance of the meeting. Remember that Scofield Farms budget information is already posted on the website.
If you are interested in serving on the SF ROA Board of Directors – there are two open terms that will be up for election. Due to the timeline that will be required for advanced balloting prior to the meeting, you will need to complete this form by June 14.

Our biggest community asset, the Scofield Farms pool is undergoing a beautification project and will reopen pending state and city government guidance. Presently, the current Governor proclamation states that public pools and private ROA community pools can open on May 8th but only at 25 percent capacity. There is no way for our ROA to properly monitor that kind of limitation without significant increase in cost to homeowner dues. So, we will have to wait until the capacity limitation is lifted.
Meanwhile, some of the pool upgrade projects underway include:
1. Removal and replacement of the front gate (completed)
2. Repaint perimeter fence (under way; changing from green to black)
3. Paint pool building soffit (changing green to cream – underway)
4. Paint metal area at front gate (black – to begin soon)
5. Install large umbrellas at southeast side of pool (in process)
6. Remove, update and replace pool signage (updates include addressing vaping, smoking and pool contamination accidents/protocol)
7. Remove and replace existing lifeguard chairs (ordered) and paint chair poles (underway)
8. Addition of new potted palms (finalizing research)
9. Lastly, order new pool furniture with commercial grade pool furniture (received and ready at opening)
The ROA Board understands the desire for many residents of our community to open the Scofield Farms pool as soon as possible. We remain hopeful with you that soon we will be able to enjoy some summertime fun in a beautiful updated pool center.

Meanwhile, the board thought you might enjoy viewing these pictures of new furniture that will be at the pool when we eventually reopen. The iron fencing and building trim will be painted in the coming weeks. So when the pool eventually opens — it will be a fresh new setting.

Dear CMA Clients & Owners,
In light of the current COVID-19 situation, our office is closed to the general public. We will continue to work our normal hours to assist any clients and owners as necessary. In addition to closing our office our managers will not be attending regular board meetings or annual meetings until further notice. We highly recommend that annual meetings be cancelled or postponed until the current crisis has subsided. Our managers will be available to hold regular scheduled board meetings via teleconference for any client who wishes to hold their regular board meetings in this manner. The Pool will be open on Monday, September 2 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for Labor Day. There will be Lifeguards at the pool on Labor Day from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Pool will then be closed Tuesday, September 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for cleaning.
