2018 Annual Meeting Recap

Thanks to all neighbors who attended the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Scofield Farms ROA, held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Frank Fickett Boy Scout Center.    Quorum was met via attending homeowners and submitted proxies, so business was allowed to proceed.

A draft of the 2018 Annual Meeting Minutes has been posted on ScofieldFarms.org General Documents page.

Welcome to DJ Loberg who was elected new member of the board!  DJ has been a Scofield Farms neighbor for 9 years and has volunteered in the past on multiple committees.  We’re happy to have you!

Anyone who knows outgoing board member Diane Harvey Anderson knows she gives of herself fully and sincerely.  As an original owner, she has been a guiding light for our neighborhood, serving on various committees and on the board.  We give the utmost of thanks to Diane for all she has given of herself for the benefit of Scofield Farms.  Diane, your work has made tremendous impact in our community, and we appreciate you!

Proxies needed!

Please turn in your signed proxy forms!   If you need a new one, you can download it here.  They may be scanned and emailed to frontdesk@cmaaustin.com.

Why are proxies important? They can ensure that we have a quorum.
We will need a quorum to hold the meeting.
If we’re unable to get a quorum, the meeting will need to be rescheduled, at large expense to the association.

Scofield Farms Garage Sale

Start cleaning out your drawers, closets, nooks and crannies – it’s time to prepare for the Scofield Farms Neighborhood Garage Sale!  As usual, we will be partnering with our sister neighborhood Scofield Ridge, which brings lots of customers to our sales.   Garage sales are much more fun with friends, so invite your neighbor to join you!

If interested, please email Jodi Cadle (jccadle@hotmail.com) with “GARAGE SALE” in the subject line.  Please include your name and address to be added to the map and advertising.  Happy purging!

Easter Egg Hunt – 2018

It is time for our Annual Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt! The Hunt will begin at 10:30am, but feel free to come a little early to grab a donut, orange juice or coffee beforehand. After the Hunt, there will be a bounce house, face painting and Tiny Tails Petting Zoo for everyone to enjoy! In order to make this all happen, we do need a little help from all of you. For EACH child participating in the Egg Hunt, we will need 12 candy or toy filled eggs. Tracy Johnson will be collecting the eggs the week before the event (March 26-30). Please bring them to her address at 1407 Dapplegrey Lane.

Thank you and we hope to see you all there!!
